This is the first tape we offered of a talk given by Ram Dass after his stroke.
Lecturing at Spirit Rock Center in Woodacre, CA, at a benefit held on his behalf, Ram Dass spoke about the experience of his stroke and its aftermath, and of the spiritual lessons it has brought him. He described the way his spiritual perspective affected his experience of the stroke, and called the stroke a gift of "heavy grace."
